  • To discuss the difference between Essentialists and Non-Essentialists.

  • To infer meaning from context.

  • To act out short skits.


Use of language & lexis:

  • To use Simple Present to describe duties and responsibilities.

  • To use Simple Past to talk about past events and experiences.

  • To learn / review some collocations. (e.g. make a presentation/ a to-do list / meet a deadline...)

  • To review phrases to express contrast and opinion.

  • To learn / review phrasal verbs and idioms related to the topic.

Hi Silvina! Nice lesson plan, especially the first and the last exercises. For me a bit of an explanation/ clarification on essentialism would have been helpful - had to look it up!😁
