Aims:
To discuss students’ habits of taking photos
To predict some information before reading an article
To read an adapted article about the topic
To listen for gist and for detail
To develop listening decoding skills through microlistening
To express opinion and reaction towards the topic
To describe students’ special photos
To develop digital literacy
To create a Padlet with the students’ and teacher’s photos
To work on emergent language
Use of language, lexis & pronunciation:
To use Past Simple and Past Continuous to talk about memories and special photos
To learn / review vocabulary to describe photos
To learn / review some elements of connected speech for listening: linking, elision, weak forms, etc. (optional)
Suggestion: Students should be asked to bring a special photo to class, either printed or digital.
